Case: End of the Line
An immersive VR experience developed with the CYENS Centre of Excellence, End of the Line places audiences at the heart of a Mediterranean fishing family’s reality.
You join a father and son—fifth-generation fishermen—as they set their nets at sunrise and return to find them nearly empty. What was once a thriving livelihood is now on the edge of disappearance.
Beneath the surface lies the cause: pollution, oxygen-depleted waters, and invasive lionfish devastating the ecosystem. When the son dives to investigate, the unseen crisis becomes impossible to ignore.
Blending intimate storytelling with environmental insight, the experience connects human lives to global challenges—and opens the door to reflection, dialogue, and solutions.
The son, Pepis, has given up living from his father’s trade as a fisherman.
The young fisherman decides to take a look for himself to see why there are no fish
This project sparked some interest in Europe. Among them was an invitation to come and present the work at the European Greens Extended Congress in Lyon during the spring of 2024
